my pretty doll
some days ago the new issue of KÄSITÖÖ magazine was published. this time I had several items there and here are two of them. thinking about upcoming party season I made a skirt with chiffon frills and matching blouse with superwide sleeves. just add a bow made of silk ribbon and some shiny Mary Jane´s!
probably, no need to say, you can find patterns and tutorials in the magazine and make your own version from this outfit.

marni SS 11
some days ago I decided to blow dust away from my drawing skills. I was looking around at style.com and choosed some looks from Marni´s SS 11 collection. all models are wearing weird leather hats and i really like all those prints and colors and structured clothes.
just drawing was little bit boring to me, so i made some mixed media collages using fabric and simple embroidery.

bird brooches
today I made some brooches. on first one I used felt, a bird printed on that and some spangles. the second one is fringed vith velvet ribbon and also I stiched some pearls into the edge.
aren´t those perfect to adorn your coat in those chilly and dark fall evenings? and be aware of those little fairies sneaking around, all aren´t friendly at all ;)

peter rabbit´s castle
Last summerdays we found something special - a hidden castle, wonderful and sad at the same time. We had no plan to make a photoshoot, but it was too tempting to resist... I am wearing a simple summeroutfit, nothing appropriate for a castle: leggins, Zara clogs and some items from Lindex - like my favourite necklace at the time - little book with real pages and lovely poem on it and golden mr. Peter Rabbit himself. Photos by my dear BF.

autumn essentials,4
Here is my last item for KÄSITÖÖ magazine - hunter´s jacket, but just made for girls. With velvet bows, figured buttons and deer patch it is perfect for chilly fall evenings. Oh, and I can´t get enough from those gathered sleeves... See myself sewing them over and over again, just love them!

autumn essentials,3
As the weather turns colder, it´s time to make my third post in AUTUMN ESSENTIALS category. It is a tartan skirt in rich fall colours and with little extra - selfmade deer patch. Tutorial and pattern for making this skirt and patch you´ll find in KÄSITÖÖ magazine. All other clothes are from my wardrobe. And model is again lovely Grete :)

autumn essentials,2
Here is second part of our collaboration with Ago for Käsitöö magazine. Grete is showing a little DIY idea for waistcoat. You´ll need just some satin fabric and little time for attaching it to the garment. I added also a selfmade brooch with horse to complete the look.
Grete is wearing: second hand waistcoat, skirt and gloves: made by me, blouse: Vila, wedges: Zara

autumn essentials,1
New issue of KÄSITÖÖ is now available! Here is my contribution to the fall issue. You have seen similar gloves here. In the magazine you find tutorial to make your own version.
Here you can see more pictures - how our little predator-model Bruno was acting while we were shooting and other unpublished photos. Grete, our other model, was much more calm!
And all those beautiful photos are made by Ago Pelisaar.
