parka parka

I have been addicted to parkas some time already. Isabel Marant FW collection was the last drop - the label has such amazing oversized biker jackets with cosy white fur. I just had to sew myself a parka with white fur lining immediately! So I opened my enormous fabric counter and used materials I had long time or leftovers from previous projects. The only thing I bought was the short haired fur. So now I have a super warm parka and a little room for new fabrics :)
My parka is more similar to traditional. From Isabel I stole only white curly fur idea and oversized form - my parka has huge pockets and hood. Also it is the first not fitted overdress I have made to myself. Ok winter, you can come now!

And, oh yes, my blond time is over... Just needed a change.

frozen

My love to camel colored wool turned this time into this feminine jacket. All details are softly shaped and draped. Fake fur cuffs add little contrast.
It has quilted interlining and snap closure in brass .
This jacket is for sale. It is size 38. So if you feel you can´t live without it, please contact me by email for further details :)
Frozen roses hat and skirt is also made by me. Photos Ago Pelisaar.

behind the pages

This time I´m showing you some photos we took making shoot for KÄSITÖÖ. My little son was co-stylist for every outfit :) Here you see him sitting on his Baby Björn and giving some final touches. I have my mouth full of pins, fixing Grete´s hat.

Earring fix.

Little Art Lukas had the whole Puurmanni castle for crawling!

Beautiful details!

sweet roses

Oh it is so grey outside already, that´s why it is better to put some color around you. You can follow the instructions from recently published KÄSITÖÖ winter issue and make a sweet roses top like here. Just take some time for pleating those sleeves and sewing this lovely Peter Pan collar in brightest yellow silk. You can find pattern for the skirt from magazine, too.
Blouse and skirt (styling, make up and hair also) made by me for KÄSITÖÖ magazine, photos by Ago Pelisaar. Model is beautiful Grete.

The last photo is one of my favorite from the whole shoot. And this shoot was one of the biggest we have made so far wit my BF! So I have lots of beautiful photos to share with you. Stay tuned! And don´t forget colors to break this grayness and no-sun-time here!

what else is there

Owl sweater for a current KÄSITÖÖ issue.

We are planning a huge photo shoot for a magazine, lots of pages... This video has been my inspirational source since I saw it. Amazing, no explanation needed, I guess...
I love those colors, all those little details, places, set design...And the song is just enchanting...

envious grasshopper

It is actually part two of my previous post. Sales findings again - my search for the perfect trench (for months already) ended unexpectedly at Zara. Only one trench (and my size!) was calling my name at the rack! Look at those shoulders and all the tiny details inside! Shallallaa :)
